Hanging Options

Brick Wall

Wood boards (1x2 or 1x4 or 2x4 or 2x6) are used to project scoreboard away from the wall to allow for easy swivelling of the "indicator bar". Holes and screws can be inserted through the edges of the scoreboard or even through the board itself. If drilling through the scoreboard itself, it is a good idea to do so right on a white line to keep the screw heads from being visible.

Exterior Fence

Many of the shuffleboard clubs drill holes into the scoreboards to fasten them to poles, fences, etc. Just keep in mind that the scoreboard is metal so we recommend using a clear nail polish or silicone around the hole you create to keep it from rusting. A little bit of silicone caulk under the head of each brass or stainless steal screw to seal holes also will help.
